Rain happens on wedding days and we all just have to roll with it. I have never had a rainy wedding where I wasn’t able to still get beautiful images. We make it work and sometimes it’s even more magical! Not to mention, rain on your wedding day is good luck right? That being said, I know sometimes clients still have in their mind dreamy, glowy photos from a perfectly sunny day. That’s why I will always try to reschedule an engagement session or bridal shoot when I can if the weather looks questionable. We can’t control the wedding day, but we can kind of control our other sessions if we are all flexible! After rescheduling Kate and Kurt’s engagement session three times due to typical summertime rain, we finally landed on a perfectly sunny day. It was sunny, warm, and magical in the gardens at UNC Charlotte, and they could not be more adorable together. Can’t wait for their wedding next year at River Run Country Club!
