All day long a storm was brewing. Not just a little passing rain, but a big ominous thunderstorm. For most couples having a rooftop wedding, this might stress them out! Jessica and Adam seemed completely not phased though, and were just so excited to get married! Luckily we had already planned to have a first look on the big staircase, so we were able to do portraits before the storm hit! As Jessica started walking down the aisle during their rooftop ceremony, it started to sprinkle. Then the sprinkles got bigger, but even during the downpour they carried on. Fortunately at the Uptown Charlotte Springhill Suites, the rooftop area is partially covered. I must admit I didn’t terribly hate the storm because it made for some beautiful dramatic clouds! In most cases it would be difficult to say any rainy day would have a “perfect” wedding, but Jessica and Adam really did. It is because of their amazing energy together and immense love that just radiates off the two of them when they are together. These two can weather any storm!! (See what I did there? ;) )
