When Elena and Conner decided on The Broken Spoke as their wedding venue, I was super excited! It’s a very unique place to get married, and it has such a fun vibe. So obviously it’s a great reflection on Elena and Conner as a couple…fun, chill, and ready to have a good time together above all else! The Broken Spoke is the oldest distillery in Mecklenburg County and it is surrounded by many other fun Charlotte staples like Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, Queen Park Social, and Sugar Creek Brewing Company. Luckily, Sugar Creek welcomed us to use their courtyard area to have Elena and Conner’s first look. After the first look and some moments alone, we went back to The Broken Spoke where they had a private family ceremony upstairs. Then it was time to party! All their friends and family joined them downstairs for dancing and good food! They had two awesome food trucks, and they were delicious!
