Melanie and I met a few months back over some wine to discuss her wedding and we hit it off immediately. It has been such a pleasure to become a part of her planning process and really picturing her vision for her wedding day. I love a girl with a vision! So I knew when we were thinking about their engagement session that it had to be something outdoors with a garden vibe, but fall is a tricky time to do that! Luckily Wing Haven Gardens was the perfect intimate location. I had always been wanting to shoot there, and it ended up being the ideal location. Despite it being fall and freezing that day, the gardens were green, had blooming flowers, and the most gorgeous warm sun light beaming through. Melanie and Ben are a stunning couple together and I can’t wait for their wedding next year!
